Opening Instructions

If you are coming in late at night look for the (three way light switch) on the path to the cabin and turn it on.  Keep in mind that this cabin in not on top of the hill like all of the other cabins.  This one is down the embankment and directly on the edge of the lake.  

 

Bring the door code which was emailed to you with your reservation.  Enter the code into the door and turn knob to the left.   The door should open for you.  If this should not happen for any reason please call us immediately.  651 587 7525.    We have a caretaker very close by to help out.

Turn Furnace thermostat ( Wall by Refrigerator) . Please set the temperature to 68F. Do not touch the functions buttons on the bottom of the Thermostat.  Use only the Up Down arrow buttons on the Right Side of the thermostat. (Furnace Heat is very expensive so please conserve enery).  If you are away for a day or longer, please set thermostat to 60F.      
 

When you use the wood stove – be sure the vent lever in the back of the stove pipe is set to open. If you want the wood to last longer, hang the screen on the back of the stove and pull the swivel door from underneath to close the stove.

 Closing Instructions

 

Set the furnace to 55 Degrees.  Do not touch the functions buttons on the bottom of the Thermostat.  Use only the Up Down arrow buttons on the (Right Side) of the thermostat.

Close the door on the woodstove – (pull from under)

Take-Out all Food from fridge.  Only leave butter, ketchup, Mayonnaise and other condiments in the refrigerator that do not go bad.  

 

 

Close the door and enter the same code, turn the knob to the right and the door will be locked
